MEET THE COACH: Adriane
Adriane is the MuddyBoots Kids Sports Club Ltd - founder and owner. She is also the team coordinator for our Holiday Camp. Adriane is a very experienced sports coach and has been working in the sports industry for over 10 years.
She has been working as a sports coach for different schools and she also has experience working with children with Special Education Needs. Along with the BA(Hons) Sports Coaching and Early Childhood Studies degree, Adriane also has achieved many sports coaching qualifications including:
Level 1 Volleyball coaching – UKCC
Level 1 Tennis coaching – UKCC
Level 1 Football coaching- FA
Athletics coaching assistant award – UKA
Level 2 Gym instructors – REPs
Level 2 Multi-skills in sports development – UKCC

In accordance with the 2004 Children Act a minimum staff to child ratio of 1:8 is observed at all times.
All our staff are highly qualified and experienced PE teacher or qualified to a degree level. Each child will be assigned a key member of staff to look after their well-being.
MEET THE COACH: Katie
Katie graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Physical Education (with qualified teacher status) from the University of Brighton in 2016. She was graded as ‘outstanding’ in all of her teaching placements that she completed as part of her degree. Katie has been teaching PE at The Howard of Effingham School for two years and has a breadth of experience of teaching and coaching young people. Katie loves physical activity and sport, she is extremely passionate about sharing her love of sport with youngsters through fun and engaging methods. Katie’s strengths in sport lie in Hockey, Netball and Swimming. Katie competed in all three sports to a high level in her teens, excelling mostly in Hockey where she represented her region at U17 level and went on to play for the University of Brighton Women’s 1st XI for the four years that she studied there. Katie also regularly umpires Netball games in her spare time. Katie is a diverse teacher who ensures that all children she teaches enjoy learning whilst developing their knowledge, skills and understanding in a safe environment. Central to Katie’s coaching is her belief in the importance of inclusivity and access for all.
MEET THE COACH: Kelly
Kelly graduated from the University of Brighton with a BA Honours degree in Physical Education. She then continued her studies at the university through a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in PE gaining her QTS (qualified teacher status) in 2017. Kelly have been teaching PE at North Bridge House Senior School and Sixth Form this current academic year and has a breath of experience teaching pupils aged 11-18. Kelly is passionate about various styles of dance and has recently joined the adult classes at The Place centre for contemporary dance in London. She participate in Ballet and contemporary classes on a weekly basis gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the dance industry. She enjoys various outdoor and adventurous activities such as canoeing/ kayaking participating in these as a hobby and job over the last few years. Kelly's philosophy to teaching physical education, primarily involves the inclusiveness to ensure everyone has a positive physical education experience in which are also fun and engaging for all.
MEET THE COACH: Willemein
Willemein has worked as a Kindergarten teacher in The Netherlands as well as in the UK. Willemein is our coach at Guildford Club.
In Surrey, she has worked at a Primary school were she taught English as a 2nd language . She is also librarian. For the last 13 years, she has been working as a Dance & Movement teacher at ACS Cobham.
Willemien is a full qualified Early Years teacher as well as Forest School Teacher. In addition, she just got a teaching qualification for YOGA for children.

MEET THE COACH: Dave
Dave is new to the team at Muddy Boots. Dave has worked in education for a total of 7 years, completing his first year as Secondary School Physical Education Teacher at The Howard of Effingham School.
Alongside his Ba(Hons) Sports Coaching and Physical Education and PGCE (PE specialist) Dave has achieved the following sporting qualifications:
FA Level 1 in Coaching Football
Level 1 Handball
RFU Rugby Ready Level 1
Level 2 in Refereeing a 15-a-side game
Secondary School Tennis Teaching
First Aid trained
Dave is very enthusiastic and committed individual with a passion for sport, exercise and education. Dave has experience working with Primary and Secondary school children from University and his current job. Dave believes that every child should have the opportunity to grow and learn in a fun and safe environment.
MEET THE COACH: Cate
Meet Coach Cate!
Cate has been teaching for over 12 years and originally trained as a professional ballet dancer. Training at the Dance School of Scotland from age 11 and Central School of Ballet London at 16, Cate has danced in Stockholm, Sweden and several other National Ballet Companies. Returning to the UK to complete her degree, Cate graduated with a BA First Class Honours Degree and has also obtained her PGCE and PGDT in Teaching and Education. Cate loves dance and sport and has been teaching Dance and PE in schools across London and Surrey for the last 12 years. Cate was 2ic PE and Head of Girls PE at Howard of Effingham School for 4 years and has now moved across to teach PE at ACS International Cobham. Cate is also a netball geek and has her C award to umpire Netball – which Cate does in her spare time as well as enjoy time with her young family of 2 &5!
Cate is a multi-skilled teacher and has the ability to instil an enjoyment of learning and sense of achievement into the children she teaches. Central to Cate’s coaching is her belief in the importance of raising self-esteem and confidence in the individual.
Cate loves being a part of the muddy boots team and her favourite activities are arts and crafts, nature play and sports games.
MEET THE COACH: Calli
Calli is our youngest coach in our camp. Calli has been volunteering for the last 3 years at a Church group Easter Club. It's while doing this she found that she is a natural around children and they are drawn to her calm but fun nature. Calli is studying Art and Photography at College and hopes to become an Art therapist when she finishes.

MEET THE COACH: Dan
Dan is the Head Instructor at Maven Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has more than 8 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Dan will be delivering Martial Arts classes in our camp. Dan achieved Silver at The British Open 2016. He is also a Sports Science Degree qualified Personal Trainer. The premise of Jiu Jitsu is that a smaller weaker person can overcome a stronger bigger person through technique and leverage.
